About the Client
TheWordPoint needed a solution that would be able to convert and sell to customers online, and a web-based, CRM solution that would be able to accept orders, and automatically assign, track, & optimize orderfulfillment.
The Situation
The client startup needed an effective eCommerce website, complete with high-conversion order taking and client portal, and a robust backend custom CRM system capable of modernizing their work processes, eliminating bottlenecks, and increasing efficiency. The client operates a large, distributed network of translators, and needed to automate the client+translator matching in order to maximize output accuracy while minimizing errors, time to completion, and costs.
Clients would be able to place an order via a host of major payment solutions providers, log-in to their account within the client portal to track order status and leave feedback. Upon order placement, the CRM solution would automatically split and delegate orders based upon optimization parameters, client feedback, and translator score, and would track order fulfillment across various stages, optimizing at each.
The Solution
We assembled a full, dedicated team for the business services startup, consisting of a business analyst, project manager, 2 designers, 2 back-end developers, 2 front-end developers, and 1 QA specialist.
The team developed a complex web software solution consisting of an admin area, translator portal, and client portal, that accepts and analyzes orders placed online by clients, and uses intelligent allocation to split and assign orders. The system has the autonomy to split orders however necessary in order to allocate to the most accurate translators, while reducing cost-to-client and minimizing turnaround time.
Using iteration-based development, the team created the first version within only 7 months, and launched the final version within 1.5 years.
The Results
The team we assembled for our client was able to create a high-conversion eCommerce solution and coupled it with a fully-automated CRM system, that incorporates intelligent & customizable order assignment, contractor management, and order-tracking. The system can autonomously create simultaneous dependent job flows, and intelligently move assignments through various phases to optimize delivery times, minimize cost to clients, and increase accuracy.
The CRM system has become the backbone of the client's competitive advantage, and the foundation upon which its has been able to scale its business & operations, while also growing profit margins, and client & contractor retentions.
